Rockhurst University Athletics

Scanlon lettered four years in football and baseball. He was a lineman and end in football, and played shortstop in baseball. He captained both teams in his senior year. He was named the “Outstanding Player” in football in 1941. He ranked ninth in the nation at end in a college all-star poll.
