Athletics Hall of Fame
Denny Rabbitt is receiving an honorary induction to celebrate a lifetime of service and support to Rockhurst University and Rockhurst Athletics. Rabbit was a dual-sport athlete at Rockhurst competing in baseball and men’s basketball from 1960-1964. He was a member of the 1964 NAIA National Championship Team. Rabbitt has been a steadfast supporter of Rockhurst serving as a key partner to support the university’s alumni engagement efforts, specifically around athletics. Rabbitt was a key partner in several major athletic events and initiatives including the 50-year anniversary celebration for the 1964 basketball team, and the 100-year celebration of men’s basketball. Rabbitt received the university’s St. Ignatius Award in 2018.
