Athletics Hall of Fame
Burroughs was an outstanding pitcher and first baseman from 1994-97, while breaking school career records for games played (227), hits (303), runs (244), doubles (44), RBIs (195) and total bases (427). On the mound, he won 30 games and set Hawks' records for career starts (49), innings pitched (332) and complete games (27). Burroughs batted .462 in his senior season to earn All-Region honors. He helped lead the Hawks to 139 wins and two trips to the NAIA regional tournament.
