The Hawks enjoyed a tremendous nine-year run under Jerry Reynolds. The Hawks posted eight consecutive winning seasons under Reynolds, who coached the Hawks to a 174-81 record. He guided the Hawks to five 20-win seasons and took the program to back-to-back NAIA national tournaments in 1980 and '81. He is the third winningest men's basketball coach in school history.
