Box Score Rockhurst ended its Florida Spring Break trip with an 18-10 loss to Wayne State (Mich.) Tuesday night at Jack Russell Stadium in Clearwater, Florida.

The Hawks scored seven runs in the first inning to take a 7-0 lead. Wayne State scored six runs in the second and plated two runs in the third to take an 8-7 lead. The Warriors scored seven runs in the final three innings.

David Stober led the Hawks with an three hits and RBI triple in the first. Mitch Stickney drove in three runs. Jeremy Lufft added two RBIs. Michael Lydon-Lorson (2-2) took the loss in relief of starter Alex Merithew.

The Hawks (6-8) play at doubleheader at Illinois Springfield on Friday.
