2014 (freshman): Appeared in five games as a relief pitcher.

High School: Two year letter winner in baseball and four year varsity winner in cross country at Fort Osage...  earned All-State for one yearand All-Conference for one year... appeared in six games on the mound... finished with a record of 5-1 and an ERA 1.19 in 47.2 innings pitched... struck out 73 batters while walking nine... recorded four complete games and a WHIP of .88.

Personal: Born March 22, 1995... son of Marilee and Benjamin Merithew... majoring in English.
