he Hawks are on a nine-game winning streak

The Rockhurst Hawks moved up four spots to No. 19 in the latest National Association of Basketball Coaches poll that was released on Tuesday (Feb. 24).

Rockhurst is coming off back-to-back road wins over Missouri S&T (65-64) and Lincoln (84-72) last week. The Hawks are on a nine-game winning streak and have an overall record of 21-5, marking the first 20-win season for Rockhurst since 2002.

The Hawks have also won 13 of their last 14 games. Rockhurst remains alone in first place in the GLVC with a 15-3 conference record and also leads in the Point Rating System after last week's games.

The top eight in the Top 25 poll remain unchanged from last week. Nova Southeastern (No. 1), Cal State East Bay (No. 2), Washburn (No. 3), Daemen (No. 4) and Gannon (No. 5) round out the top five.

Rockhurst wraps up the regular season with a two-game homestand, beginning on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. when they face McKendree.
