No. 23 Hawks open road trip at Missouri S&T

The 23rd-ranked Rockhurst men are set for their last road trip of the regular season. The Hawks take on Missouri S&T on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. in Rolla, Missouri, followed by a matchup against Lincoln on Saturday at 3 p.m. in Jefferson City, Missouri.

This is the first time Rockhurst has earned an NABC national ranking since 2002 and is the second time ever as a NCAA Division II institution.

RU is on a seven-game winning streak and have an overall record of 19-5, their first 19-win season since the 2008-09 season. Rockhurst heads into this week in first place in the GLVC with a 13-3 conference record.

Drenin Dinkins is tied for seventh in the nation with an average of 22.8 points per game. Jaylen Wesley's average of 21.3 points per game is tied for 15th in the nation.

Missouri S&T (17-6, 11-5 GLVC) fell 80-77 to Truman State on Feb. 12 and 78-76 to William Jewell on Feb. 14. Overall, Rockhurst is 28-16 against the Miners dating back to Dec. 3, 1988.

Rockhurst and Missouri S&T have split their last four matchups. The Miners won 78-77 at the buzzer in the two teams' last matchup on Feb. 22, 2025, at Mason-Halpin Field House.

Lincoln (11-14, 5-12 GLVC) fell 77-58 to Quincy on Feb. 12 and won 93-79 over Truman State on Feb. 14. The Blue Tigers posted an 83-64 win at Rockhurst on Feb. 20, 2025.
