Hertenstein leads Hawks in Nebraska meet

Max Hertenstein led the Hawks in 89th place

The Rockhurst men's cross country team finished in 16th place in the Gold Division at the Greeno/Dirksen Cross Country Invitational Saturday at the Mahoney Park Golf Course in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Junior Max Hertenstein led the Hawks in 58th place in a time of 27:03.7 over the eight-kilometer course. Sophomore Andrew Hartegan finished in 63rd place in 27:11.0.

Senior Luke Coltvet (110th, 28:20.4), sophomore Colton Ellingsworth (118th, 28:26.6), freshman Aiden Amis (145th, 28:53.6), sophomore Marshall Reed (157th, 29:12.7) and junior Collin Fay (164th, 29:26.0) rounded out the top seven runners for Rockhurst.
