The Rockhurst men's cross country team finished in seventh place at the Great Lakes Valley Conference Championships Saturday at the Lewis Cross Country Course in Romeoville, Illinois.
The Hawks finished with 200 points. Lewis won the team title with 41 points, followed by Illinois Springfield with 79 points and Missouri S&T with 83 points.
Sam Rosenberg led Rockhurst in 26th place with a time of 25:19.37 over the eight-kilometer course.
Max Hertenstein was the Hawks' No. 2 runner in 28th place with a 25:20.50 time.
Julio Cruz (41st, 25:45.67), Andew Hartegan (70th, 26:18.78) and
Carter Tomac (73rd, 26:21.39) rounded out the top five finishers for Rockhurst.
Colby Goddard (127th, 26:42.81) and Parkfer Foster (128th, 26:50.44) also broke 27 minutes.
