The Rockhurst men's cross country team captured first place with 46 points at the Brian Simpson Invite 8K race Saturday in Columbia, Missouri.

Sam Rosenberg was the individual champion in a time of 26:08.99. Max Hertenstein came in second place in 26:18.60.

Julio Cruz finished in 11th place at 26:51.05, Colby Goddard (15th, 26:56.26), Carter Tomac (17th, 27:04.05), Parker Foster (40th, 27:43.43) and Aiden Amis (43rd, 27:57.91) also broke 28 minutes.
