The Rockhurst men's cross country team finished in 10th place with 282 points at the Southern Stampede Saturday in Joplin, Missouri.

Max Hertenstein finished 47th and broke the school record for eight kilometers in a time of 25:33.12. Jack Del Vecchio held the former school record (25:38) in 2023.

Sam Rosenberg came in 49th place in 25:37.55 and Julio Cruz finished in 56th place at 25:44.96.

Freshman Carter Tomac (74th, 26:12.29), Colby Goddard (91st, 26:38.16), Parker Foster (105th, 26:53.84), Aidan McGarry (126th, 27:21.91), and Aiden Amis (131st, 27:25.86) also broke 27:30.
