Men finished 10th at Gans Creek Classic

Jack Del Vecchio led the Hawks in 61st place.

The Rockhurst men's cross country team finished in 10th place at the Gans Creek Classic Friday in Columbia, Missouri.

Jack Del Vecchio led the Hawks in 61st place in a time of 27:21.8 over the eight-kilometer course. Collin Fay finished in 77th place in 27:40.8.

Andrew Hartegan (100th, 28:10.4), Landon Comstock (102nd, 28:18.1), Luke Coltvet (112th, 28:42.2, Chris Oberkrom (115th, 28:49.7) and Colton Ellingsworth (120th, 28:55.9) rounded out the top seven runners for Rockhurst.
