Jack Del Vecchio crossed the finish line in first place to lead the Rockhust men's cross country team at the Billy Mills Invitational Saturday in Lawrence, Kansas.

Del Vecchio broke a personal best over the 8K course in a time of 25:38.85.

The Hawks finished second in the team standings with 58 points, three points behind Baker.

Colton Ellingsworth finished 14th in 27:10.51, followed by Collin Fay in 16th in 27:21.55 and Blake Borum in 18th place in 27:27.92. Isaac Zitter placed 19th in 27:30.39 and Andrew Hartegan finished 20th in 27:32.12.
