Jack Del Vecchio led the Hawks with an 8K time of 26:54.76.

The Rockhurst men's cross country team finished in 20th place at the Southern Stampede Saturday in Joplin, Missouri.

Jack Del Vecchio led the Hawks in 107th place in a time of 26:54.76 over eight kilometers. Max Hertenstein finished right behind Del Vecchio in 108th place in 26:55.61.

Freshmen Dylan Brush (145th, 27:32.02), Collin Fay (172nd, 28:02.87) and Isaac Zitter (203rd, 28:52.43) rounded out the top five runners for Rockhurst.
