Del Vecchio paces RU runners at NCAA Midwest Regional

The Hawks ran in cold and snowy conditions in Wisconsin.

The Rockhurst men's cross country team finished 26th out of 30 teams at the NCAA Midwest Regional Saturday at the Wayne E. Dannehl National Country Course in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

Jack Del Vecchio led Rockhurst in 112th place with a time of 34:14.61 over the 10-kilometer course. Max Hertenstein was the Hawks' No. 2 runner in 138th place with a 34:18.87 time.

Collin Fay placed third for the Hawks in 171st place in 34:57.12, followed by Dylan Brush (172nd, 34:59.55). Isaac Zitter (178th, 36:23.22), Chris Obersteadt (179th, 36:23.97) and Tyler Pedee (189th, 37:54.33) rounded out the seven runners for Rockhurst.
