The Rockhurst men's cross country team won the team title at the Billy Mills Invitational Saturday in Lawrence, Kansas.

The Hawks finished first in the team standings with 37 points, 19 points in front of second-place Haskell Indian Nations.

Jack Del Vecchio led the Hawks in second place over the 8K course in a time of 25:58.49. Del Vecchio broke his 8K school record by 30 seconds. 

Max Hertenstein finished third in 26:29.77, followed by Dylan Brush in fifth place in 26:35.64. Isaac Zitter placed 14th in 27:35.67, Tyler Pedee was 17th in 27:51.49 and Collin Fay came in 19th in 27:58.49.
