The Rockhurst men's cross country team finished in 26th place at the Southern Stampede Saturday in Joplin, Missouri.
The Hawks finished with 832 points, Missouri Southern won the team title with 55 points.
Peyton Hottovy led the Hawks in 205th place in a time of 28:59.75 over eight kilometers.
Eric Mata finished in 233rd in 29:52.36, followed by
Jack Hitzemann (236th, 29:56.44) and
Joseph Moffatt (257th, 30:52.77).
Daniel Suarez (264th, 31:15.80) and
Riley Brookins (279th, 33:01.65) rounded out the runners for Rockhurst.
