Box Score Rockhurst posted its second victory over a top five team from Nebraska in the last seven days with a 3-0 victory over fifth-ranked Wayne (Neb.) in the Rockhurst Classic Friday at Mason-Halpin Field House.

The 17th-ranked Hawks (5-1) won the first two sets 25-23 and 26-24 before pulling away for a 25-14 victory in the third set.

Katie Loescher led Rockhurst with 14 kills and six blocks. Preecy Seever collected 13 kills and eight blocks. Alyssa Arnold added seven kills and 13 digs. Anne Hellwege paced the Hawks with 21 digs. Lauren Poulicek came off the bench to post 11 digs. Whitney Kostal totaled 39 assists.

Alyssa Frauendorfer led the Wildcats (5-1) with 11 kills.
