Rockhurst Women's Volleyball completes a four-match homestand this week, beginning with a matchup against Central Missouri on Tuesday at 6 p.m. before beginning conference play on Friday night at 6 p.m. against crosstown rival William Jewell.
The Hawks (5-4) are on a four-match winning streak after defeating Northwest Missouri State in straight sets on Sept. 11 and Sept. 12. Last weekend, Riley Hays recorded 16 kills, and Molly Trachta tallied 34 assists.
Carlie Pandjaris led the Hawks in service aces (five) and digs (22). Delaney Hope had 11 blocks to lead the Hawks. Ali Olsen finished last weekend with a .417 hitting percentage.
Central Missouri (7-4) won all three of their matches at last weekend's Holiday Inn Express Griffon Volleyball Invitational in St. Joseph, Missouri. The Jennies won in three sets over Illinois Springfield on Sept. 11 and won in four sets against both Arkansas Tech and McKendree on Sept. 12.
The Jennies have also won four-straight and five of their last six. Overall, Central Missouri leads the series 12-3 dating back to Oct. 3, 2001. Rockhurst fell in five sets during the last matchup on Sept. 30, 2025, in Warrensburg, Missouri.
William Jewell (1-10) traveled to the Rosella Meier UNK Fall Classic in Kearney, Nebraska last weekend. The Cardinals fell to Northwestern Oklahoma State and Hastings in four sets on Sept. 11. and to then No. 7 Nebraska Kearney in three sets on Sept. 12.
Rockhurst is 28-2 all-time against William Jewell dating back to Sept. 5, 2000. The Hawks have won the last two and 25 of the last 26 matchups. In their last matchup, the Hawks won in straight sets on Sept. 26, 2025, in Liberty, Missouri.
