Rockhurst Women's Volleyball hosts Northwest Missouri State for their home opener on Friday at 6 PM and also on Saturday at 2 PM inside Mason-Halpin Field House.
The Hawks (3-4) won two of their three matches at last weekend's Fairfield Inn Griffon Volleyball Classic in St. Joseph, Missouri. After falling to No. 10 Southwest Minnesota State in three sets on Friday, Rockhurst won in five sets over Northern State and No. 11 Missouri Western on Saturday.
Chloe Tyrrell led the Hawks in kills last week with 35.
Molly Trachta tallied 71 assists, as
Bailey Donnelly led Rockhurst with six service aces.
Abby Boyd finished with 36 digs while
Delaney Hope and
Ali Olson both recorded nine blocks.
Northwest Missouri State (3-4) also played in the Fairfield Inn Griffon Volleyball Classic last weekend. The Bearcats fell to Southwest Minnesota State and Northern State in three sets before dropping a match to Oklahoma Christian in five sets.
The Hawks are 11-3 against the Bearcats dating back to Sept. 13, 2002, and have won the last three contests. Rockhurst won in three sets during the most recent matchup on Sept. 5, 2025, in Hays, Kansas.
