Box Score Rockhurst rallied after dropping the first set to a post a 3-1 victory over Emporia State Tuesday night in Emporia, Kan.
The ninth-ranked Hawks (21-2) won the fourth set 25-14 with a .385 hitting percentage. Rockhurst lost the first set, 25-23, and came back to win the two sets, 25-15 and 25-23.
Katie Loescher led the Hawks with 16 kills and five blocks.
Morgan Rietzke finished with 15 kills and nine digs.
Kelsey Stratman added 12 kills and three blocks.
Alyssa Arnold collected a team-high 15 digs.
Lauren Poulicek chipped in with 13 digs.
Whitney Kostal amassed 49 assists, 11 digs and four blocks.
Anne Hellwege added 10 digs.
The Hawks travel to St. Louis to play Maryville and Missouri-St. Louis this weekend.
