Men set for high-stakes matchups at Maryville

RU Men's Volleyball heads into this weekend as winners of 12 of their last 13

Rockhurst Men's Volleyball faces a big road test, as they travel to Maryville to face the Saints on Friday at 6 p.m. and Saturday at 2 p.m. in St. Louis, Missouri.

Maryville (15-5, 10-0 GLVC) and Rockhurst (16-10, 9-1 GLVC) enter the weekend in first and second place in the conference, respectively. If Rockhurst wins both, they will take sole possession of first place with one week left in the regular season.

Rockhurst is on its second six-match winning streak of the season after defeating Quincy in three sets on April 2 and April 3 at Mason-Halpin Field House. All six wins in the current winning streak have been in three sets. RU has also won 12 of its last 13 matches.

The Saints won in four sets over Roosevelt on April 3 and April 4. Maryville has won 15 straight and has not lost since Jan. 23.

RU and Maryville faced off three times in 2025, as Maryville won the first two. The Saints won in three sets on Feb. 14, 2025, and in four sets on Feb. 15, 2025, both at Mason-Halpin Field House.

Rockhurst won the most recent match in five sets on Feb. 28, 2025, in St. Louis, Missouri.
