The Hawks finish the regular season at home against Roosevelt

Rockhurst Men's Volleyball ends the regular season with a pair of matches against Roosevelt on Friday at 5 p.m. and Saturday at noon at Mason-Halpin Field House.

The Hawks split their two matches last week at Maryville. RU won in five sets on April 10, but fell in four sets on April 11.

Heading into this weekend, Rockhurst (17-11, 10-2 GLVC) is a half-game behind Missouri S&T and Maryville for first place in the conference.

Sophomore middle blocker Aron DeRoy was named the Great Lakes Valley Conference/Athletic Solutions Defensive Player of the Week for the second time this season. He posted 13 blocks (1.44/set) and six digs and recorded five solo blocks and eight assisted blocks.

Roosevelt (16-8, 8-4 GLVC) won in four sets over Jamestown on April 10 and in three sets on April 11. The Lakers have won four of their last seven matches.

Rockhurst and Roosevelt played twice last season, both at neutral sites. The Hawks won in three sets on Feb. 1, 2025, in Quincy, Illinois and on March 22, 2025, in Rolla, Missouri.
