Rockhurst Men's Volleyball faces Thomas More on Friday at 6 p.m. ET/5 p.m. CT and Saturday at 2 p.m. ET/1 p.m. CT in Crestview Hills, Kentucky.

The Hawks swept their matchups with Southwest Baptist last weekend, winning both matches in three sets. RU heads into this weekend as winners of eight of its last nine.

Rockhurst (12-10, 5-1 GLVC) is tied for second place in the conference standings with Roosevelt and are just one game back of Maryville for first place.

The trio of sophomore middle blocker Aron DeRoy, graduate student libero Ryan Collins, and sophomore setter Tyler Zippay were named the Great Lakes Valley Conference/Athletic Solutions Players of the Week in men's volleyball.

DeRoy was named Offensive Player of the Week for the first time. He collected 18 kills (3.6/set), recorded a .680 hitting percentage over five sets and added two digs, two blocks, and one service ace.

Collins earned his first Defensive Player of the Week honors. He totaled 21 digs (3.50/set) in six sets and added one assist. Zippay was tabbed as the Setter of the Week for the second time. He recorded 54 assists in six sets (10.8/set), added five digs and five service aces.

Thomas More (2-15, 0-6 GLVC) fell to Roosevelt in five sets on March 20 and in three sets on March 21. The Hawks won both matchups against the Saints last season on the road in three sets.
