Men set to face Missouri S&T twice in Rolla

The Hawks are 9-9 overall and 2-0 in the GLVC

Rockhurst Men's Volleyball travels to Rolla, Missouri to face Missouri S&T on Thursday at 6 p.m. and Friday at 4 p.m.

The Hawks (9-9, 2-0 GLVC) are coming off of back-to-back wins in straight sets over Jamestown to begin conference play.

Rockhurst is currently riding a five-game winning streak, the longest of the season. All five wins during the winning streak have been in straight sets.

Tyler Zippay earned GLVC Setter of the Week honors. Zippay recorded 60 assists in six sets (10.00/set) and added 11 digs, five service aces, and two blocks.

Missouri S&T (7-4, 1-1 GLVC) began conference play on the road, splitting a pair of matches against Roosevelt. The Miners won in three sets on March 6, but Roosevelt won in five sets on March 7.

The Hawks and Miners faced off twice last season, splitting a pair of matches. Rockhurst fell in straight sets to Missouri S&T on March 21 in Rolla, Missouri, but won in five sets on April 5 inside Mason-Halpin Field House.
