Men to face Park, Ottawa at Mason-Halpin

Rockhurst Men's Volleyball returns for a pair of home matches on Friday at 6 p.m. against Park and Saturday at 2 p.m. against Ottawa.

Last week, the Hawks (3-6) fell to 18th-ranked Lindenwood in four sets on Jan. 30 and 11th-ranked McKendree in four sets on Jan. 31.

Senior outside hitter Shay Spadaro was named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Player of the Week. This is the second consecutive week that a Hawk was named GLVC Defensive Player of the Week, as Aron DeRoy earned the honor on back on Jan. 26.

Park is a perfect 7-0 heading into their matchup with Rockhurst. The Pirates won in four sets against Oakland City on Jan. 30 and in three sets against Missouri S&T on Wednesday. Friday's contest will be the inaugural matchup between Rockhurst and Park.

Ottawa (2-1) fell in five sets to Oakland City on Jan. 31 and in three sets to Avila on Tuesday. The Braves will play against Central Christian on Friday before their matchup with the Hawks on Saturday.

Saturday's match will be the second between the Hawks and the Braves. Rockhurst won the inaugural matchup in three sets on Jan. 25, 2025.
