Men begin five-match homestand

Rockhurst Men's Volleyball begins a five-game homestand, facing Central Christian on Saturday at noon and 2 p.m. before playing Avila on Tuesday, Feb. 24 at 6 p.m.

The Hawks fell in three sets to No. 11 Lewis and No. 8 Loyola Chicago last weekend.

Central Christian (0-11) fell in three sets to the University of Health and Sciences and Pharmacy on Feb. 14 and to Hastings on Tuesday. The Tigers face Southwest Baptist and Westminster on Friday before their two matches against the Hawks on Saturday.

Rockhurst faced Central Christian four times last season, winning all four matches in three sets.

Avila (0-7) fell in three sets to Hastings and St. Mary-Woods on Feb. 13. The Eagles face Graceland on Friday before their match with the Hawks on Feb. 24.

Tuesday's match will be the first time the Eagles and Hawks face off in men's volleyball.
