Men's Volleyball faces Central State this weekend

The Rockhurst men's volleyball team faces Central State on Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. at Mason-Halpin Field House for their first two home matches of the season.

Last week, the Hawks (1-4) fell twice to third-ranked Hawaii. Rockhurst lost in four sets on Jan. 14 and fell in three sets on Jan. 16.

Nathan Jacques is second in the GLVC with 136 assists and fifth in average per set (7.16). He is also the league leader in service aces (nine).

Shay Spadaro is second in the GLVC in service aces (seven) and third in kills (47). Lucas Tran is fourth in the conference with 45 kills.

Wesley Yusk (15) and Aron DeRoy (14) are third and fourth, respectively, in the conference in blocks.

Central State (0-2) fell in straight sets to second-ranked Long Beach State on Jan. 14 and 14th-ranked Ohio State on Jan. 8.
