Spadaro, Tran earn All-IVA honors

Lucas Tran earned Second Team All-IVA honors

Rockhurst's Shay Spadaro and Lucas Tran earned All-Conference honors from the Independent Volleyball Association, as the league office announced the men's volleyball postseason awards on Thursday. Both Spadaro and Tran earned Second Team All-IVA honors.

Spadaro, a junior outside hitter from Orlando, Florida, led the team in points (349.5) and service aces (42), and was second on the team in kills (285) and fifth in assists (30). He was also third on the Hawks in digs (141) and fourth in blocks (35).

Tran, a freshman opposite hitter from Wildwood, Missouri, was second on the team in points (338.5. He led Rockhurst in kills (299) and was third with 21 service aces. Tran was also fourth in digs (117) and had 27 blocks, which ranked sixth on the team.
