Rockhurst faces Drury to begin the GLVC Softball Tournament on Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Eastside Centre in East Peoria, Illinois.

The Hawks (18-24, 14-14 GLVC) enter the GLVC Tournament as the eighth seed, while the Panthers (31-19, 22-6 GLVC) are the top seed. 2025 marks the Hawks' ninth trip to the GLVC Tournament and the fourth in the past five years.

In the double-elimination format, the winner of the Rockhurst-Drury matchup will take on the winner of fourth-seeded McKendree and fifth-seeded Illinois Springfield on Thursday at 1 p.m. 

The teams who lose in the two matchups mentioned above will face each other in an elimination game on Thursday at 10 a.m.

The Hawks finished the regular season by splitting their last six games, beginning with a split against Central Missouri last Tuesday. Rockhurst swept Lincoln on last Saturday before dropping a pair on Sunday to Missouri S&T to end the regular season.

Drury finished the regular season with a sweep of Southwest Baptist last Sunday, earning its first share of the regular season championship in school history. The Panthers are appearing in their sixth straight GLVC Tournament and their eighth overall.
 
The Hawks are 19-18 against the Panthers all-time dating back to 2008, but the Panthers have won the last three matchups. Most recently, Rockhurst fell twice at Drury on April 12, 2-1 and 4-0.

Wednesday will be the first matchup between Rockhurst and Drury in the GLVC Tournament.
