Hawks set to face Maryville, Central Christian

The Hawks head into this weekend with a 7-9 record

The Rockhurst men's volleyball team hits the road to face Maryville in St. Louis, Missouri on Friday at 6:30 p.m. Rockhurst returns home on Saturday to face Central Christian at 1 and 3 p.m.

Friday's matchup against Maryville will be the Hawks' third consecutive meeting against the Saints. Rockhurst (7-9) last played on Feb. 14 and 15 against Maryville (6-5) inside Mason-Halpin Field House, falling to the Saints in three sets on Feb. 14 and in four sets on Feb. 15.

The Saints (6-5) are coming off a 3-0 win over Missouri S&T on Wednesday and enter this weekend on a five-match winning streak.

Central Christian (0-7) fell in three sets to Graceland on Feb. 7 and lost to Kansas Wesleyan, 3-0, on Feb. 21. The Tigers have faced several of the same opponents as Rockhurst this season, including Ottawa, Kansas Wesleyan, and Graceland.
