Home court awaits Hawks this weekend

Trent Jones has an 89-40 record at Rockhurst since 2020
The Rockhurst women's volleyball team returns to Mason-Halpin Field House for the first time in nearly three weeks. The Hawks meet Illinois Springfield on Friday at 6 p.m., followed by a 3 p.m. match on Saturday against 18th-ranked Quincy.

Rockhurst (15-5, 5-2 GLVC) has won its last seven matches, most recently posting a 3-1 win at Truman State on Saturday. The Hawks are tied for third place in the GLVC standings. Tera Reberry ranks eighth in kills per ser (3.77) in the GLVC.

Illinois Springfield (14-7, 4-3 GLVC) is coming off a 3-2 loss at home to Southwest Baptist last Saturday. The Prairie Stars are led by freshman outside hitter Makenna Cox, who ranks third in the GLVC in kills per set (4.20). The Hawks lead the all-time series, 14-0.

Quincy (20-2, 7-0 GLVC) are in first place in the GLVC. Senior right side hitter Emma Wijnbergen leads the GLVC in kills per set (5.28). Rockhurst leads the all-time series, 16-4, since 2010.
