Former Rockhurst women's volleyball and basketball coach Tracy Rietzke is part of a record number of inductees announced today by the Kansas Sports Hall of Fame Class of 2026. He is one of 32 individuals with ties to sports at every level throughout the state of Kansas to be inducted this year.

Rietzke will be inducted at the Kansas City ceremony on Aug. 26 at the Huhtamaki Shield Club at Sporting Park in Kansas City, Kansas.

Rietzke was inducted into the American Volleyball Coaches Association Hall of Fame in 2025 and the Great Lakes Valley Conference Hall of Fame in 2023.

Rietzke recorded 1,277 victories in 38 years as the volleyball coach at Kansas Wesleyan and Rockhurst. He had an .818 winning percentage at Rockhurst and was the 2019 AVCA Division II National Coach of the Year. Rietzke also posted a 206-45 record as the women's basketball coach at Rockhurst with five NAIA national tournament appearances.
