Parmeley leads Hawks at Griffon Invite

Laney Parmeley finished 30th to lead the Hawks

The Rockhurst women's cross country team finished in fifth place at the Griffon Invite Saturday at the MWSU Cross Country Course in St. Joseph, Missouri.

Freshman Laney Parmeley led the Hawks in 30th place in a time of 19:41.7 over the five-kilometer course. Jillian Vaughn and Alexis Borum finished in 36th and 40th place in 19:54.8 and 20:05.5, respectively.

Cara Super (46th, 20:26.1), Alexis O'Mara (50th, 20:31.8), Mary O'Connor (51st, 20:32.9), and Molly McClung (54th, 20;42.9) rounded out the top seven runners for Rockhurst.
