Rockhurst student-athlete Grace Kaiser attended the NCAA Career in Sports Forum in Indianapolis, Indiana from May 27-30.

Kaiser, a junior from St. Louis, Missouri, is a member of the Hawks' cross country and track and field teams.

The Career in Sports Forum is an annual educational program that brings together 200 selected NCAA student-athletes to learn about and explore potential careers in sports, particularly college athletics. Third-, fourth- and fifth-year, as well as graduate student-athletes are eligible to attend.

This unique three-day forum helps student-athletes chart their career paths as they network with and learn from current athletics professionals.  This three-day program is designed to help student-athletes explore career paths in college athletics and across the sports industry.

"Attending the NCAA Career in Sports Forum was an unforgettable experience that expanded my understanding of the sports industry and the many opportunities within it," Kaiser said. "I gained valuable insight into professional networking, learned how the skills developed as a student-athlete translate directly to the workplace, and built meaningful connections with peers from across the world.

"The friendships, knowledge, and inspiration I gained from this experience will have a long-lasting impact on both my personal and professional journey."

Student-athletes are nominated by their institution's athletics director, senior woman administrator, or student-athlete affairs administrator. Administrators should speak with interested student-athletes about their career goals before submitting a nomination.
