Davis breaks school record at Southern Stampede

The Rockhurst women's cross country team finished in sixth place with 202 points at the Southern Stampede Saturday in Joplin, Missouri.

Freshman Kaitlyn Davis broke the school record for five kilometers with a 29th place finish in a time of 18:42.59. Hannah Schaefer held the former school record with a time of 18:45 in 2019.

Laney Parmeley came in 33rd place in 18:47.52. Alexis Borum finished in 53rd place at 19:24.02 and Molly McClung placed 70th in 19:48.03.

Freshman Lily Scheck (82nd, 20:11.01), Grace Kaiser (86th, 20:16.90), Sarah Farrens (95th, 20:21.50) and Theresa Berger (124th, 20:54.46) also broke 21 minutes.
