Reilly selected Academic All-America® Team Member of the Year

Rockhurst senior libero Maureen Reilly has been selected the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-America® Team Member of the Year for NCAA Division II women's volleyball.

Reilly is the second student-athlete in Rockhurst history to earn this prestigious honor, joining men's lacrosse player Zach Bodeau (2020).

As the Academic All-America® Team Member of the Year, Reilly headlines CSC's Division II Academic All-America® First Team. It is the second consecutive year she has been named a First Team Academic All-American.

A native of Overland Park, Kansas, Reilly has a 4.00 cumulative GPA as a Biochemistry major. A D2CCA second team All-American, she led Division II in total digs with 688 (5.78 per set). The AVCA named Reilly to its honorable mention All-American team as well. She is an All-GLVC first team honoree and was named the GLVC Libero of the Year for the second consecutive season.

"Maureen is the model student-athlete. She encompasses everything that an NCAA student-athlete is supposed to embody," said Rockhurst volleyball coach Trent Jones. "She works equally as hard on the volleyball court as she does in the classroom. We are so proud of what Maureen has accomplished, and equally excited to see what her future holds."

The Division II Academic All-America® program is being financially supported by the NCAA Division II national governance structure to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2023-24 Division II Academic All-America® program.
