Keiner leads Hawks at SBU Invitational

Louis Keiner won the Flight A singles and doubles

The Rockhurst men's tennis team competed in the Southwest Baptist Invitational this past weekend in Bolivar, Missouri.

RESULTS

Junior Louis Keiner won the Flight A singles over SBU's Bojan Radoman, 6-7 (6-8), 6-0, 10-5. Alex Tikhonov advanced to the quarterfinals in Flight A.

Andres Sahagun and Joe Harris both lost in the semifinals in Flight B singles to Emporia State players. Iago Alcover lost in the Flight B quarterfinals to Sahagun, 4-2, 4-0.

Keiner and Josef Truhlar captured the doubles championship over SBU, 8-3.

The Hawks return to the courts at the ITA Midwest Regional on Sept. 30-Oct. 2.
