Vaughn paces RU runners in Nebraska meet

Jillian Vaughn led the Hawks in 62nd place.

The Rockhurst women's cross country team finished in 11th place with 350 points at the Greeno/Dirksen Invitational 5K course Saturday in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Junior Jillian Vaughn led the Hawks in 62nd place in a time of 19:46.0, followed by freshman Molly McClung in 76th place in 20:13.78 and junior Cara Super came in 80th place in 20:19.44.

Junior Molly Morris in 89th place in 20:31.13 and junior Katie Mead rounded out the top five finishers for Rockhurst, placing 111th in 20:54.48.
