Five runners receive Academic All-District honors

Five Hawks earned Academic All-District honors.

Five Rockhurst student-athletes earned a place on the 2023 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Women's Track & Field/Cross Country Team.

Cassie Coltvet, Lauren DeWitt, Sarah Matt, Cara Super and Jillian Vaughn received their first career Academic All-District honors.

Coltvet, a senior from Omaha, Nebraska, placed ninth at the Billy Mills Invitational and 11th at the ZK Maple Leaf Invitational. DeWitt, a senior from Overland Park, Kansas, finished third at the Billy Mills Invitational and ninth at the ZK Maple Leaf Invitational. Matt, a junior from Labadie, Missouri, placed 36th at the Billy Mills Invitational. Super, a sophomore from Phoenix, Arizona, finished 10th at the ZK Maple Leaf Invitational and 11th at the Billy Mills Invitational. Vaughn, a sophomore from Kearney, Missouri, placed seventh at the Billy Mills Invitational.
