Softball opens play Thursday in GLVC Tournament

The Hawks earned the No. 7 seed in the GLVC Tournament.

The Rockhurst softball team begins play in the 2023 GLVC Championship Tournament Thursday at the EastSide Centre in East Peoria, Illinois. The Hawks earned the No. 7 seed in the eight-team, double elimination bracket and will take on second-seeded Missouri-St. Louis in the first round on Thursday at 3 p.m.

Rockhurst finished the regular season with an overall record of 20-24 and 13-10 mark in GLVC play. The Hawks and Tritons split their doubleheader on April 2 with Rockhurst winning the opener 7-5 and UMSL posting a 5-0 win in the second game.
