Box Score 3 The Hawks attempted to play Indianapolis in a doubleheader on Saturday, but weather issues ended the first game in six innings leading to a 5-0 Rockhurst loss. Game 2 was canceled due to the weather. The Hawks closed out the weekend with a doubleheader split against McKendree Sunday, dropping the first game 3-2 and taking the second game 8-4.

Game 1: McKendree 3, RU 2Â Â
McKendree struck first with a home run to right-center in the second. The Hawks took the lead in the fourth as Gwen Bostick singled to left field and drove in two RBIs to give the Hawks a 2-1 lead. The Bearcats rallied back in the sixth to score two runs.
Game 2: RU 8, McKendree 4Â Â
The Hawks jumped out to a 6-0 lead after the first inning, which included a Jaden Santoni triple down the right-field line to score Fornan. The Bearcats tried to answer with two runs in the fourth, but another Santoni double stretched the lead to 8-3.
