Women finish second at Billy Mills Invitational

Cara Super led the Hawks in fifth place

The Rockhurst women's cross country finished in second place at the Billy Mills Invitational Saturday in Lawrence, Kansas.

The Hawks finished with 58 points, two points behind the College of the Ozarks.

Cara Super led the Hawks in fifth place in a time of 23:35.43 on the 6K course, followed by Jillian Vaughn in sixth place in 23:35.99. Molly McClung came in 14th in 24:05.0 and Katie Mead placed 16th in 24:21.10.

Mary O'Connor, Brooklyn Niebaum, Alexis O'Mara and Meg Murphy also finished in the top 25.
