O'Connor leads Hawks at Southern Stampede

Mary O’Connor led the Hawks with a 5K time of 19:20.16.

The Rockhurst women's cross country team finished in 18th place at the Southern Stampede Saturday in Joplin, Missouri.

The Hawks were led by Mary O'Connor over the five-kilometer course. O'Connor finished in 98th place with a time of 19:20.16.

Marianna Donze finished 109th in 19:26.80 and Cassie Coltvet followed in 111th place in 19:29.02. Rounding out the Hawks' top six runners was Faith Fritschle (116th, 19:32.90), Lauren DeWitt (119th, 19:35.60) and Cara Super (122nd, 19:37.81).
