Moyer named to Academic All-District Team

Maggie Moyer graduated with a 3.96 GPA in nursing.

Rockhurst senior Maggie Moyer was named to the 2021-22 Women's Track & Field/Cross Country All-District Team by the College Sports Information Directors of America on Thursday (May 26).

A nursing major, Moyer graduated with a 3.96 GPA and was one of four student-athletes from the Great Lakes Valley Conference to earn Academic All-District accolades.

The Omaha, Nebraska native finished in the top 20 in four cross country meets last fall. She captured first place at the Cottey College Invitational in Nevada, Missouri and placed second at Billy Mills Invitational in Lawrence, Kansas.

The 2021-22 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Track & Field/Cross Country Teams, selected by CoSIDA, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in athletic competition and in the classroom. The CoSIDA Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

First-team Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in mid-June.
