Wibbenmeyer selected to Academic All-District Team

Calli Wibbenmeyer batted .404 with 14 home runs and 51 RBIs.

Rockhurst's Calli Wibbenmeyer was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District® Softball Team on Thursday (May 12).

Wibbenmeyer was a first-team All-GLVC and first-team NFCA and D2CCA All-Region honoree this past season. The senior first baseman batted .404 with a .766 slugging percentage and .479 on-base percentage. She posted 31 runs, 57 hits, seven doubles, one triple, 14 home runs, 51 RBIs and two stolen bases.

In the GLVC this season, Wibbenmeyer ranked second in RBIs, third in home runs, and third in slugging percentage.

Wibbenmeyer graduated with a 3.94 grade point average in Secondary Education in December and is currently pursuing a Master's in Education.

The 2021-22 Academic All-District® Softball Team, selected by CoSIDA, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CoSIDA Academic All-America® program separately recognizes softball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA. First-team Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in June.
