Wibbenmeyer earns All-Region First Team honors

Calli Wibbenmeyer led the Hawks with a .404 batting average.

Rockhurst senior Calli Wibbenmeyer earned All-Midwest Region First Team honors from the Division II Conference Commissioner's Association (D2CCA) and National Fastpitch Coaches' Association in respective votes by the Midwest Region's sports information directors and softball coaches.

Wibbenmeyer led the Hawks with a .404 batting average and a .766 slugging percentage. The First Team All-GLVC first baseman ranks second in RBIs (51) and slugging percentage in the GLVC, in addition to being third in the conference in home runs (14) and batting average.

All first-team D2CCA and NFCA honorees will advance to the national ballot for All-America consideration. The NFCA All-America Team will be announced on May 25.
