Reilly receives AVCA All-American honors

Maureen Reilly ranks fifth in the country in digs per set.

Maureen Reilly of the Rockhurst University volleyball team has been selected an NCAA Division II All-American by the American Volleyball Coaches Association.

The junior libero, who ranks fifth in the country in digs per set, was selected an honorable mention All-American. Reilly is the 11th player in program history to earn AVCA All-America status.

Reilly and junior outside hitter Kenzie Hines were both named to the AVCA All-Midwest Region Team in the honorable mention category.

Reilly (Overland Park, Kan./St. James Academy) was named the GLVC Libero of the Year and selected First Team All-GLVC. She led the Hawks with 587 digs (5.70 per set). Reilly ranks 10th in career digs (1,379) at Rockhurst.

Hines (Nixa, Mo./Nixa) was named to the All-GLVC First Team. She collected 345 kills (3.42 per set), 387 points (3.83 per set), 322 digs (3.19 kills per set) and 31 services aces (0.31 per set). Hines posted 13 double-doubles (kills/digs) in 2022.
