David Schilp led the Rockhurst men's golf team to a seventh place tie at the Washburn Invitational Tuesday at the Topeka Country Club in Topeka, Kansas.

The Hawks shot a 313 on the second day to finish with a 54-hole score of 924. Shilp finished in 16th place with a two-day score of 224. He shot a 77 in the third round after opening with a 75 and 72 on Monday.

Caleb Schmid tied for 30th place with a 230 score (78-78-74). Ben Elgas tied for 32nd place with a 231 (80-73-78). Mike Wolski shot a 77 in the third round to tie for 41st as an individual at 234.
